Nation Changers Update January 2013
THAILAND – CCLC 2012 Mission Trip – Daniel Fynmore
I had never been on a missions trip before Thailand 2012, but after God strongly prompted and challenged me to go, I committed myself to it. The biggest faith step for me was for finances, because not only was I going on the Thailand trip, I was going on a 5 week visit to Bethel church in the USA. I work a casual job with very inconsistent hours and it would be impossible for me to save up for both of these things I had been called to do.
That's where God stepped in. After committing myself to both these trips, I was heavily relying on God to pull through, which he did, INCREDIBLY! I won't mention names or events, but I received approximately $5800. How cool is God!
On the Thailand trip God began to lead me into my calling. When I came back he re-vealed to me an even greater depth to it and I'll be participating in many more mission trips. I'll also be learning Mandarin this year in preparation for heading to China (not sure when - waiting on God for that).
If there's one thing I can encourage, it would be to trust God if He calls you somewhere. If you are lacking in finances and God's prompts you to go on a missions trip, be obedi-ent and GO! He has set you up for a financial miracle! Don't let your current financial situation be the deciding factor, let His voice be the deciding factor.

This miracle just happened in December, a reminder that God is Lord of all…
Sania was brought by her Muslim mother to a mission base for prayer. She was born with sickle cell anemia and was very sick. One of the ministers prayed for her, and there was an immediate improvement. As the minister shared with them about Jesus the Healer, they both accepted Christ as their Saviour.
This widowed mother and her children started attending church, and Sania started singing with the youth praise and worship team. Although still having some struggles with the sickle cell disease, Sania was doing much better.
Several weeks ago, Sania started getting sick again. During morning prayers, Sania’s sister came in running and said “Sania has just died! She was taken to the hospital for treatment, and she died.” Crying broke out in the church at the news. The hospital declared her dead and released the body to be taken home for burial.
When everyone arrived at her home, they found her alive! She was taken back to the hospital where they had to certify that she was now living, after being dead for about 45 minutes!
She was asked what she saw when she had died. She said she saw a very bright light and then a man walked through that light. When asked if she knew who that man was, she said, “Yes, it was Jesus.” When asked if Jesus said anything to her. She said that He said “I’m not ready for you yet. You have to go back because you still have things you need to do.”
Your Dream – Darren McMahon
Recently, the new Chaplaincy team gathered in the heart of Sydney to meet in person for the first time. Although it has only been a few months since Your Dream embarked upon this new venture, we have already been able to employ four welfare workers who are currently in eight different high schools across NSW, and there are still more to come!
